These GRABS permit the handling of sheet metal packs on pallets with a maximum and minimum gripping range varying from a min. of 500 mm. and a max. of 2.500 mm. depending on the chosen model and on the basis of the customer’s specific requirements. All this equipment can be fitted with various options such as: safety systems, rotation device through 360° (options applicable also successive to the tong purchase). The jaws are comprised of a load bearing structure, positioned in a longitudinal axis with respect to the central tong body, in which the supports are fitted to support the sheet pack. In the standard model version, the supports are fitted in a fixed position. Alternatively, the jaws can be supplied in different versions: fitted with quick fit longitudinal mobile supports; with supports rotating through 90° and fitted with extending telescopic elements for each jaw. These grabs are therefore easily adapted to all the lengths of the packs to be handled and to the specific storage requirements.
